Oven heating element 270×360 mm, Sanal, 1200 W

Before you unscrew the old heater, cut the power and photograph the terminals with their leads — reassembly then follows the picture rather than memory. Next, find two numbers on the old element: length from the flange and width.

On this Sanal model they are 360 and 270 mm, with a ±10 mm tolerance. Against the neighbouring 1500 W version it is a centimetre longer and lower in power at 1200 W, with the same 6.9 mm tube and the same 118×22 mm flange on two M4 screws at 104 mm centre-to-centre.

Wiring is three 6.3 mm terminals: two live ones 67 mm apart plus an earth. Supply ~220 V, 50–60 Hz. It goes into ovens and electric cookers in place of a stock heater of these dimensions.
