Description
Small tanks call for a short element. This one is built for electric samovars and juice steamers: the working zone is only 90 mm (±5%), the two tube legs sit 50 mm apart on centre, and 1.25 kW brings a small volume of water to the boil quickly.
The tube is stainless steel and 7 mm thick, slimmer than the distiller elements listed alongside it. The fitting is 10 mm in diameter, the terminals are brass, 6 mm. It must run submerged: switched on dry, it burns out in minutes.
To check fit, take out the old element and compare three measurements — fitting diameter, centre-to-centre spacing and working length.
