Heating element for distiller, 1.5 kW

A small still, weak country wiring or an unhurried run — three reasons to choose the lowest-powered element in the series. One and a half kilowatts is enough for that, and the heating is more even than with the bigger elements.

Dimensions are shared with the rest of the line: 14.5 cm working length (±5%), 10 mm stainless steel tube, 14 or 16 mm fitting, 60 mm between tube centres, M3 terminal thread. If you later want more power, the replacement goes into the same hole.

The medium is water and nothing else; in air the element burns out within minutes, so switch on only once the tube is under the surface.
