Heating element for distiller, 2 kW, extended

This is the long version of our 2 kW water element: the working length is about 24 cm (±5%), so it suits wider boilers and still tanks where a short tube would heat only a patch of the bottom. Power is unchanged at 2 kW, the medium is water, and the tube must stay submerged whenever it is switched on.

To check the fit, take the old element out and measure two things: the fitting diameter, which we make in 14 and 16 mm, and the distance between the tube centres, which here is 60 mm. If both match, the new element drops into the existing hole.

The tube is stainless steel, 10 mm across; the fitting is galvanised steel; the contacts take an M3 thread.
