Heating element for distiller, 2.5 kW

When the still has to come up to the boil fast and the tank is shallow, this is the one to fit: 2.5 kW on the short 14.5 cm working length (±5%). It is the most powerful element in our water series, and it loads the supply accordingly — check that the socket and wiring are up to it.

Mounting is shared across the series: a 14 or 16 mm fitting, 60 mm between tube centres, M3 terminal thread. If a lower-powered element of ours was in the tank before, this one goes into the same hole. The tube is stainless steel, 10 mm across.

It is a water element and heats only in liquid; run dry it will burn out, so keep the water level above the tube.
