Stainless steel fan rake

Leaves come off a lawn best with a rake that flexes. The tines here are thin stainless steel strips that give on bumps and spring back, so they gather leaves, dry grass and light debris without tearing out the turf. Use it across the lawn, between flower beds and on paths.

The fan opens to roughly 54 cm, which covers a wide strip in one pass, and the overall length of about 150 cm lets you work upright. The handle is metal with rubberised grips that stay put in wet gloves.

Stainless steel means no rust to worry about: knock the soil off and hang it up. For a small plot or tight borders, the MINI version in the same category is the narrower option.
