Air heating elements – 2.0 kW

A middle-of-the-range option among these air elements: enough output for a drying cabinet or a small heat gun without asking too much of the wiring. It runs on 230 V and gives 2.0 kW.

Construction is the same as its neighbours in the range — a stainless steel tube of 13.8–13.9 mm, formed into an arc with the legs 80 mm apart, a 22 mm fitting and M5 terminals. What sets this one apart is length: 52–55 cm, so measure the old element end to end before ordering.

It needs moving air. Left in a still enclosure the tube cannot shed its heat and will burn out early, so it belongs where a fan or blower is part of the installation: drying chambers, heat guns, paint booths, electric ovens.
