Air heating elements – 2.5 kW

Two and a half kilowatts is the top of this range of air heating elements, and the extra output is worth having where a large volume of air has to come up to temperature quickly: drying chambers, industrial heat guns, paint-curing units, electric furnaces.

The tube is stainless steel, 13.8–13.9 mm across, bent into an arc with 80 mm between the two legs. Working length is 65–69 cm, the fitting is 22 mm and the terminals take M5 nuts. To check the fit, measure the old element rather than guessing: length, leg spacing and terminal thread are the three figures that matter.

Run it only with forced airflow. Still air cannot carry the heat away fast enough and the tube will overheat.
