Description
Two cross tubes instead of one is what separates a rake that lasts from one that folds. Here the twelve straight tines are fixed to a pair of rigid tubes, so the head keeps its shape when you drag it through packed soil or lever up a heap of wet leaves.
It is a soil tool first: loosening the top layer before sowing, levelling a bed after digging, dragging out twigs and rubbish. For combing leaves off a lawn the fan rake in the same category is the gentler choice; this one is meant for ground work.
Everything is stainless steel, so it can live in a damp shed or under an outdoor lean-to without rusting. Knock the soil off the tines on the edge of the bed and you are done. Made in our own workshop in Ukraine.
