Garden hoe for greenhouses and beds, 160 mm, with handle

Between rows of tomatoes in a greenhouse a long handle just gets in the way, catching plants and the next bed over. So the handle here is short, 800 mm: you work bent forward with short strokes, and the crescent blade cuts weeds off at the root without turning the soil over.

The blade is 65G spring steel. It keeps its edge for a long time and does not fold on packed ground. The blade measures 200 mm across and 80 mm high, with a Ø25 mm socket for the handle. The joint is laser-welded, so there are no rivets and the blade does not work loose after a couple of seasons.

It leaves the factory sharpened. Wipe the soil off after use: 65G is a carbon steel, and wet earth left on it leaves rust spots.
