Whether this element drops into the place of the old one comes down to three measurements: fitting diameter (14 or 16 mm here), the distance between the two fitting centres (60 mm) and the tube diameter (10 mm). Take the worn element out, lay a ruler on it and compare.

At 4.0 kW it sits one step below the largest clip, heating nearly as fast while putting a gentler load on the wiring. The double fold of the tube packs a long heated run into a short zone, which suits shallow tanks.

Stainless steel sheath, water only. Fill the tank first and apply power second; a dry start will ruin the element.
