Boiler heating element – 4.0 kW

One step below the top of the boiler range: 4.0 kW against the 5.0 kW models, and a step above the three-and-a-half-kilowatt one. The working length is 19.5 cm, so it needs a few centimetres more depth than the smaller element but less than the 5.0 kW ones.

Stainless-steel tube, 13.8 to 13.9 mm in diameter, on a 22 mm fitting with the legs 120 mm apart and M5 terminal studs. Those two mounting figures are what to compare with the element coming out.

Heats water only; running it dry will burn the tube out.
