Gift set “For Our Own” — Ø14 skewers ×6, 2 forks, leather case

The leather case is not there for the shop window. Skewers need somewhere to live between barbecues so they do not rattle in a drawer or catch your fingers, and the case does exactly that, taking on the look of a well-used thing as the years go by.

Inside are six stainless-steel skewers, Ø14 mm rod, 660 mm long. Each takes a full adult portion and does not sag under the weight of the meat. With them come two grill forks for lifting a finished piece off or turning a steak without stabbing it more than once.

It is given for housewarmings, big anniversaries and birthdays, to people whose grill is not just for looks. Next to the sets in a cloth case or a tube, this is the leather one — for when how the gift feels in the hand matters.
