Gift set “Fine Host” — Ø14 skewers ×6, 2 forks, carry case

What you are paying for beyond the steel is the carry tube: faux leather on the outside, a plastic liner inside, so the points cannot work through the wall and the skewers do not rattle against each other on the road. The strap goes over the shoulder and your hands stay free.

Inside sit six triangular skewers, Ø14 mm, with a 660 mm working length and a 130 mm wooden handle. Meat grips on three faces instead of one, so it turns with the skewer rather than spinning on it, and a rod of this section does not bow under a heavy load.

The two stainless-steel forks with wooden handles cover both situations at the grill: the 640 mm one reaches the far side of a wide barbecue, the 410 mm one is for close work over a small fire.
