The bit that matters on tongs is the tip. These have 35×30 mm jaws bent at 90°, so they scoop under a piece rather than pinch it from the side — a thin sausage does not split, a heavy steak does not drop onto the coals when you turn it.

Overall length is 420 mm, keeping your hands out of the heat. The working part is food-grade stainless steel; the wooden handles are 135 mm long, stay cool and do not slip in a greasy palm.
