Dry heating element for water heater 1200 W, L=400 mm, DAVIGO

This is the dry type: a straight 12 mm stainless steel rod that sits inside the sealed metal sleeve of the tank and heats through the sleeve wall. Scale never reaches it, hard water does not shorten its life, and you can swap it without draining the tank. It fits the sleeves of Gorenje and Electrolux water heaters.

Check the length against the old element: 400 mm to the stop at the tube fork, ±5 mm, 420 mm overall. Two 4 mm terminals set at 90° to each other. Rated 1200 W (1.2 kW) at 220 V. If a dry element fails early, look at the sleeve for corrosion and check the magnesium anode on the flange: that anode is what protects the sleeve.
