Triangular skewer Ø9 mm, stainless steel, metal handle

A round rod lets the meat spin when you turn it; three edges hold it. The piece sits on the corners of the skewer and turns with it, which is the whole point of the triangular section.

The rod is 9 mm across, food-grade stainless steel, so it will not rust, does not take on smells and washes clean quickly. Overall length is 600 mm, sized for a grill of ordinary width. The handle is metal, shaped so that it does not slip out of the hand and does not get too hot to hold; it grips well through a glove too. The tip is sharp and goes into the meat without forcing.
