Water heating element – arc, 3.0 kW

Three kilowatts sits in the middle of our arc range: quicker than the 2.0 kW version, gentler on the wiring than 4.0 or 5.0 kW. For a household tank on an ordinary circuit it is the size people ask for most.

The build is the same as the rest of the row: a 10 mm stainless steel tube, two fittings of 14 and 16 mm set 60 mm apart centre to centre, terminal studs threaded M3. That makes a swap simple — match the fittings and the spacing, then keep the wattage you had, or step up one size if the old element took too long.
