Description
Long, narrow tanks take an arc better than anything else: a single bend, nothing to snag on the way in, and the heat spread along the whole 37.5 cm of the tube (±5%). This one is rated 4.0 kW.
It is made from stainless steel tube, 13.8–13.9 mm in diameter, and mounts on a 22 mm galvanised fitting with a matching nut. The terminals are 65 mm apart and threaded M5. Compare those figures with the element you are replacing before you buy, and make sure the tank is deep enough for the full length.
Run it under water only. Comes vacuum-packed.
