Water heating element – clip type (34 cm) – 5.0 kW

Five kilowatts folded into a working length of 34 cm is the whole point of the clip shape: the tube is bent back on itself like a paper clip, where an arc of the same rating would run longer and not fit a tank of average depth.

The fittings are bigger than on our arcs — 18 and 22 mm, set 65 mm apart centre to centre. If the old element had slimmer fittings, this one will not go through the same holes, so check before ordering.

The tube is 10 mm stainless steel; terminals are threaded M5. Five kilowatts wants its own circuit and a breaker sized for the load, not an extension lead. For water only.
