Water heating element – clip, power – 1.5 kW

One difference from its bigger brothers is easy to miss: the fitting comes in 14 mm only, with no wider option. If the holes in your tank are cut for a larger fitting, choose a higher-rated clip instead.

Otherwise it follows the family pattern: 10 mm stainless tube folded like a paper clip, 60 mm between fitting centres, a working zone of 17.5 cm within 5%. It is the shortest and gentlest element in the range; 1.5 kW heats slowly, barely registers on the wiring and suits a small tank.

Water first, power second, and clean the scale off now and then.
