Electric heating element for water heater 700 W, copper

Short tanks need a short element. With a working length of only 185 mm, this one goes where the longer flange elements cannot, and 700 W is enough to heat a small volume without overloading the circuit.

The tube is copper, so heat passes into the water quickly and the tube itself stays cooler; the flange is brass and 62 mm in diameter, the size used in Thermex, Ariston, Gorenje, Atlantic, Tesy and Kawai water heaters.

To be sure of the fit, switch the heater off at the breaker, drain it, unscrew the old element and compare the flange diameter and length with this one.
